Spring 2012 Fashion Week is underway and Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava started it off right with a dinner party showcasing their Spring 2012 collection. The design duo chose twelve of their friends to model their pieces instead of having their traditional runway show. They even wore pieces from the collection themselves: Lisa in a black and navy knee-length halter dress and Sophie in a long black dress with white piping and a thigh-high slit up the middle.
The night was filled with “It” girls, bloggers and editors galore! Some of my favorites attended including Ken Downing, Stephanie LaCava, Bryan Boy, Meredith Melling Burke, Chioma Nnadi, Lily Kwong, Jane Keltner de Valle and many more.
